St. Nicks Alliance started in 1975 when a fire destroyed a row of frame buildings on Powers Street and the community came together to help the residents. This group became and continues to be a grassroots movement working to preserve and improve our neighborhoods through our efforts in youth & education, elder care, affordable housing, community preservation, and workforce development.
